This is about how Jerome Boger is an awful official and should be fired for the incredible incompetence shown in EVERY game he officiates.

Now then…

We all saw the roughing call that kept the last drive for the Bucs alive against the Falcons.

It was bad.

It wasn’t roughing.

It shouldn’t have been made.

This call was made by Jerome Boger, who has long been hated by fans across the league due to his incompetence.

He was even INVESTIGATED by the NFL over it.

This was either a make-up call for the uncalled BLATANT pass interference the play before it, or it was an official known for being an absolute idiot making a terrible call. I would say that the massive issue with concussions and what happened to Tua were related to it, but there were WORSE HITS on the QBs from both teams that were NOT called. So, based on the rest of the game it was just Boger.

But, well before that and throughout the game, Boger’s crew missed or blew SEVERAL calls that heavily influenced the game.

The third down catch by Cade Otton that was clearly spotted wrong, it was marked probably a yard shorter than it should have been. It should have either been a first down or fourth and INCHES AT WORST. Then they marked the fourth down play JUST SHORT.  Lenny could have gotten more than he did but the fact is they could have marked it as a first down on BOTH PLAYS and no review would have shown enough to overturn it.

Bucs fans were wondering why that third down play wasn’t challenged, and it’s clear.

Jerome Boger would have upheld the ruling regardless of clear evidence, which was proven by the ruling on Mike’s TD later in the game.

The two egregious PIs committed against Miller, both of which were absolutely pass interference and absolutely should have been called.

Now yes, for the second one the Falcons were called for defensive holding the play before it which was a bad call due to being within five yards.

But that just proves my point: Jerome Boger and his crew are INCREDIBLY BAD at their jobs.

On the Falcons’ first touchdown there were THREE UNCALLED PENALTIES.

THREE.

Two holds and a block in the back.

I know people say they could call holding on every play, but these were the “should be called 100% of the time” type of penalties.

The hold on Antoine Winfield Jr DIRECTLY RESULTED in him not being able to make a play on the runner, who scored the TD.

There was a roughing call on Vita Vea that was nearly as bad as the one on the Falcons, Vita was pushed into Mariota half a second late and got called for roughing.

It wasn’t roughing.

There was also holding on the Falcons SECOND touchdown.

There was a weird sequence where the Bucs were trying to run a play on fourth down deep in Falcons territory. Ryan Succop had come on the field but Tom told him to get back.  For some reason they blew the play dead before the snap.  The Bucs had the right to run a play without the defense being able to sub players in that situation. They were trying to do just that, I think the Falcons had their kick block team on the field and the Bucs were trying to catch them.

For some reason the play was blown dead, it was not because of a timeout or penalty.

Jerome Boger just doesn’t know the rules.

The Bucs kicked a field goal instead.

Another fuck up like the bad spots earlier, that possibly took points off the board for Tampa.

The most egregious, unforgivable and offensive fuck up by these idiots is this… Mike Evans had AN OBVIOUS touchdown taken from him EVEN AFTER REVIEW. Now that didn’t impact the game since the Bucs scored on that drive, but the fact is IT WAS A TOUCHDOWN and NEVER should have been ruled otherwise.

Now because of this asshole and his crew’s incredible incompetence Falcons fans (and other morons who have the same profile photo as 100,000 other people) are harassing the Bucs on Twitter. They are spamming the team’s Twitter account as well as anyone else who is affiliated or covers them.

(Adding onto the usual spam, harassment and death threats from Manchester United fans, who have been doing it for several years.)

Why?

Because they believe the thoroughly debunked claims that Tom Brady gets calls in his favor just for being Tom Brady.

Hell, as I’m writing this garbage ANOTHER roughing call just like the one (two actually, Vita’s wasn’t roughing either) in this game happened.

And guess what…

Tom Brady is not the fucking QB for the Las Vegas Raiders.
