And by “fans of other teams” I *mostly* mean Saints fans.
Though I’ve also seen Chiefs and Packers fans do it.
But the point is: Wishing for or celebrating injuries to players is classless, scummy and just plain wrong. No matter how many times I say “FUCK THE SAINTS” (BTW, fuck the Saints) I’m not gonna stoop to the level of wishing Jameis or another player on their team gets hurt.
I will hope that dirty players like PJ Williams (who intentionally injured Chris Godwin as part of the Saints scheme to get revenge for Jameis Winston’s injury) get suspended. I will hope they get a rep for playing dirty and start getting called for penalties more often. I will hope that players who get in trouble off the field are suspended as long as is appropriate, indefinitely if needed.
But no, unlike people (assholes) with usernames like “BountyBoyz” I will NEVER celebrate injuries, whether they’re unintentional like Jameis Winston’s was.
Or completely intentional like what the dirty piece of shit Saints did to Chris Godwin.
And neither should anyone else.
