Shawn Hochuli should be fired for his “performance” in the playoffs

The 2021 NFC Divisional playoff game against the Los Angeles Rams was officiated in a way that made one thing VERY clear: Shawn Hochuli is a thin-skinned asshole who has a personal vendetta against Tom Brady.

This was further proven by his comments after the game ended, where he whined about Tom saying mean things to him.

A miracle comeback was stopped in part because he knowingly applied a rule incorrectly.  The personal foul on the hit on Mike Evans was not a post-play dead ball foul.  It happened DURING the play, it was an automatic first down. He knows this. The league knows this.

But, the bad calls started well before that play occurred, in the first half.

Tom Brady was wrongfully called for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

Why?

Because he was hit in the face by a Rams player, and was bleeding.  The play should have resulted in an automatic first down as a result of a roughing the passer penalty. It did not. Tom was rightfully yelling at Hochuli about this, and the little punk threw a flag on him. After the game he lied about them not considering the hit to be a penalty.

Wrong.

It was a penalty.  It should have been called. It wasn’t called because Shawn Hochuli can’t handle a player yelling at him to do his job.

So Tom was flagged instead.

Also in the first half, Suh was also wrongfully called for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.  Because he reacted to a dirty hit by a Rams player that Shawn Hochuli intentionally ignored. This bogus penalty extended the Rams’ drive. This doesn’t even get into the usual amount of missed offensive and defensive holds, pass interference, and other penalties that the Rams were able to get away with.

The Rams went on to win the Super Bowl, thanks again in part to the officiating going their way more than it should have.

The Bucs were screwed over, just like they were in the NFC Championship game in the 1999 season.

The Bengals were screwed over.

The Rams got their home stadium Super Bowl win, but unlike ours, it was completely unearned and undeserved.

We did it first, we did it without cheating.

Shawn Hochuli should never work another game again.

Having a personal vendetta against a player, as he does, should automatically disqualify you from being a part of the officiating at any level.
